The Two Point Rule

The Two-Point Rule refers to the principle that:
When you stimulate two connected or strategically paired points, the neurological or structural response is exponentially more powerful than hitting either alone.
This isn’t just about hitting more — it’s about hitting smarter.
Why It Works:
• Nerve Reflex Loops: Stimulating two points on the same nerve path (like LI10 & LI4) creates a feedback loop that overwhelms the spinal cord or brainstem.
• Meridian Line Disruption: Pairing points proximal & distal along the same meridian (e.g., Lung 5 + Lung 8) disrupts qi flow & motor coordination.
• Fascial Chain Collapse: Two-point strikes or pressure can break the integrity of a myofascial line, especially diagonals like the spiral or arm lines.
Martial Examples:
1. Forearm Control
• LI10 (motor point of brachioradialis) + LI4 (hand command/control)
• Hit or compress both = arm collapses, grip fails, person drops or flinches
2. Knockout Combo
• ST5 or ST6 (jaw) + GB20 (base of skull)
• Jaw strike disrupts trigeminal → follow with GB20 → brainstem overload
3. Elbow Lock Assist
• PC6 (forearm flexor) + HT3 (inner elbow nerve motor point)
• Compression or pressure at both = triceps inhibition & flexor collapse
Bonus Layer: Opposing Meridians
You can also use the Two-Point Rule across polarities:
• SP6 (yin) & GB34 (yang) on the lower leg
• Creates a yin-yang imbalance that throws off body regulation & posture
You can see the power of point combinations- three points combined is where the devastation happens!
It is NOT just about grabbing, hitting or poking one spot but about combining points to create powerful techniques!
